Zac Brown Band Tickets - Zac Brown Band Gushes About MerleFest

The members of Zac Brown Band appear to have a Midas touch when it comes to country music. They have become fixtures at the top of the country music charts with various singles, but that doesn't mean they have completely gotten used to the fame. In fact, the band was in awe at their recent appearance at the 2010 MerleFest. MerleFest happened from April 29 to May 2 in Wilkesboro, N.C. Zac Brown and his backing band took the stage on opening day, April 29. Brown was blown away by the opportunity. According to CMT, he said, "We're going to be here for the next three days, soaking up the atmosphere. I think this is the greatest festival in the world!"

If there was one festival that could rival MerleFest, it would be the CMA Music Festival in Nashville. The 2010 CMA Music Festival takes place from June 10'13 in Nashville. For the entire CMA Music Festival, the top stars will be taking the stage at LP Field. The days and times have yet to be announced, but Zac Brown Band has booked a spot on the stage at LP Field. Other stars to perform there throughout the CMA Music Festival include Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins and many, many more.

Even though they are country stars, the members of Zac Brown Band still appear to have their priorities straight. Despite multiple nominations at the 2010 ACM Awards in April, the band decided to skip the ACM Awards in Las Vegas. Instead, the band was in the Persian Gulf on a USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour. It is the band's first such tour, although band leader Zac Brown has been on one before in 2008. Turns out, they didn't miss much: they weren't given any ACM Awards. On June 9, they have a chance at another set of awards, this time at the CMT Music Awards in Nashville. They have one nomination in the Video of the Year category for their hit song "Toes." "Toes" is also nominated for Group Video of the Year, as is their hit "Highway 20 Ride."

The USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour isn't the only way Zac Brown Band is giving back to the military. They have launched a partnership with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram truck dealerships called "Letters for Lyrics." The program gives a compilation CD from the band, Breaking Southern Ground, to anyone who writes a letter to the member of the U.S. Military. In addition, participants can download the single "Free" and see footage from their USO tour.

Zac Brown Band is fronted by singer/songwriter/guitarist Zac Brown. After two albums that didn't cause much of a stir, the band hit gold with their 2008 album The Foundation. The album is chocked full of hits like "Chicken Fried," "Whatever It Is," "Toes" and "Highway 20 Ride." The band is also known for its relentless touring schedule, and the best place to find Zac Brown Band tickets is at StubHub.com.
